"I don’t play to impress anyone," hehe says. "I’m not chasing fame, gigs or spotlights. I play because it feels good. Life gets unruly sometimes and the drums give me a rhythm I can control.
"The endless combinations i can create with the snare hit, bass thump, hi-hat is the magic of it for me. It’s not polished or perfect but it’s real. I jam with my friends, someone plays the guitar, someone else fiddles with a keyboard, I take my sticks, not in a serious way but in the best way. Just for the love of it. That’s why i play."
