A Question for the Sky

What do you see,my wild friend? A distant eagle? A passing spirit? Or are you simply marveling at the vast, endless blue, feeling the same smallness and wonder that we all do when we remember to look up? There's a whole world beneath your paws, but for this one, quiet moment, all your questions are for the sky.

Among Friends - Dreamers
Charcoal and pastel pencils on A2 paper.
There’s a kind of joy that needs no reason—the kind we carried like sunlight in our chests, running wild through the dust and tall grass of the farm. We owned nothing, yet we were kings of the open sky. This piece is my heart’s archive: three faces alight, the middle one sharp as a memory, the others soft as the edges of a dream.
I drew them in charcoal and pastel—smudged and smeared like the fingerprints of time—because happiness like this refuses to stay still. It flickers. It stains. And if you look long enough, it might just leap from the paper and into you.
We were poor in things but rich in laughter. Let me make you wealthy, too.

Sovereign of Ivory.

Charcoal on A3 size artPaper

Life tests us with storms, weights us with burdens, and obscures our path with shadows. But like this titan of the wild, we are forged by resilience. However heavy the world presses down, we rise—tusk and soul unbroken.

Stand tall. The earth shakes beneath your strength. 🐘✨

Side by Side
Charcoal & pastel pencils on A2 size paper.

Two boys, arms draped like roots tangled deep in the earth—one barefoot, feeling the world raw; the other in shoes, yet walking the same road. Childhood holds them close here, before time teaches them how heavy a shoulder can grow.

This is for the friendships that shape us before we even know we’re being shaped.

We all have moments where we look up and wonder what's possible. The lioness's curious gaze reminds us that even in uncertainty, there's always hope and always a chance to discover something new. May we all find the courage to look up, dream big, and believe in ourselves.

Smile therapy 😊

Charcoals and pastels on paper(93x64cm)

His smile really touched my heart. It's a simple, genuine smile that brings joy to those around him. As they say, "smile and laughter is the best medicine", and I believe this young boy's smile is a perfect reminder of that. It has the power to heal, to uplift, and to bring people together. I hope it brings a smile to yours too, and a little bit of joy to your day.
