*Upcoming Gospel Artist Turns to AfroJazz*
Upcoming Mufakose based gospel artist, Shepherd Kanengoni has shifted his trade to Afro Jazz following his release of a single titled “Chii nhai Mhofu”.

Speaking to Nhau, Kanengoni said despite having two gospel albums in his portfolio, he felt it necessary to venture into the genre to widen his fan base.

His latest offering spreads the message that couples should not renege on their marriage vows despite challenges such as financial constraints that they might come across and opt for the opulent thus dumping their partners.

He also advices couples not to allow third parties to interfere with their relationships, citing that these would lead to divisions and collapse of their union.

Of his gospel tracks, the first album “Zvichanaka” was released in 2018 and comprises of seven tracks followed by another seven track album titled “Werudzi rwaEver released last year.

Kanengoni collaborated with Professor Chitape another gospel artist on a single track titled “Pindirai” this year.

Like any other upcoming artist, Kanengoni revealed that he has been facing challenges in marketing his music as well as getting promoters for his works.

“The going is a bit tough as I lack a competent marketing team and promoters for my music to grow,” he said. *Nhau*
