Pamurove Foundation is pleased to announce the upcoming residency of self taught multidisciplinary artist . Mhako says his “curiosity and creativity” is spurring his interest to explore more organic materials such as clay, stone and metal during his residency. “The space's natural habitants will give me a great deal of clay, metal and stone to fodge new narratives that will inspire my creativity even long after this residency.”

With past collaborations at art spaces such as Nhaka gallery, Pantha Foundation and a recent exhibition with , Lomedy's artistic voice is both bold and experimental Throughout his career Lomedy has embraced a multitude of materials and techniques and this residency will be no different. "I would love for Pamurove to introduce me to a "Mhizha", a craftsman-woman who can teach me how to smelt and forge metal or clay and burn it..." We look forward to seeing the finished mural and passion projects that may arise during the residency.
