FIRST HAND INFORMATION ON A CASE OF MURDER. Kalumbila Police dealing

Occurred on 20/03/26 between 11:00 hours and 13:00 hours in Kisasa village area
Reported on 20/03/26 at 14:00 hours by M/Mwalede Siamuchimba aged 39 of add/ Solwezi who reported that his cousin f/Eneless Hellen Kamutumbe aged 46 of add/Chingola was murdered by a mob. The deceased sustained sever head injuries as Planks, sticks, stones and other unknown objects were used in the act.
Brief facts are that the deceased came from Chingola to Kisasa for business about 06:00 hours. About 10:30 hours, m/Prince Ntambo aged 25 was at the market when he bumped into the deceased. From there he began to shout that his p***s had been stolen from him by the deceased. A commotion insued and the mod descended on the deceased. She was assaulted by the mob and taken to the chief's palace. They were told to go to Kisasa Police. However, the deceased was instead taken to the clinic where she was rescued by the headteacher who hid her in the house.
Police Kalumbila rushed to the scene and found the situation hostile as locals were throwing stones at the police. The now deceased was retrieved from the house as the mob kept throwing stones. Sadly the deceased was powerless and fell to the ground, she had a sever deep cut on the head, Severely swollen face and swelling all over the body. She said she had no energy left and a mob circled and overpowered the police, and continued hitting beating her till she was murdered. The police retreated for safety at Kisasa Police station. The deceased's body was later placed along the Mutanda - Mwinilunga road by the mob. Police reiinforced and managed to retrieve the now deceased and rushed her to Wumi Mini-hospital where she was pronounced dead upon arrival. The body has since been deposited at Wumi mini-hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem.

2. M/ Kasanyinga Chrispine aged 22 of Kisasa,
3. m/ Paul Luwaya aged 25 of Kisasa,
4. M/Rodrick Lukamga aged 26,
5. F/Francina Kantumoya. aged 30
6. F/Harriet Kamalata aged 28
7. F/Ester Katomba aged 29
8. M/Sawendeli Johnathan aged 27 ,all of Kisasa village area, have since been picked by police to aid in investigations.
During the commotion the below listed officers were assaulted using stones and sustained the injuries
No. 15168 D/C/Insp. Malembeka sustained a cut on the head, swollen face
No. 55216 Const Chinyeka sustained a cut on the head and body pains
No. 12122 Insp. Kafusha sustained a painful back. Medical reports have since been issued.
Further the station M/V ZP2286B was damaged and has a broken front screen
