Guided by the mission “Unlocking Potential and Shielding Their Dreams,” Samson has built a platform that addresses challenges facing youth including poverty, poor health, hunger and climate change while creating opportunities for creativity and sustainable growth.
Under his leadership, Kweza Foundation has launched impactful initiatives such as school based art clubs, youth outreach programs, agricultural training projects and climate action campaigns all designed to inspire young people to thrive and shape a brighter tomorrow.

Ishmael Gumbo is a dynamic Biomedical Scientist, academician and transformational leader whose work bridges science, community development and strategic innovation. Currently pursuing dual postgraduate degrees an MSc in Epidemiology and Biostatistics and an MBA in Business Administration Ishmael brings a multidisciplinary lens to public health and leadership.
He lectures biomedical sciences at Harvest University and serves as the National Coordinator for Diagnostic and Community Health Research at Scientific Initiatives for a Healthy and Developed Zambia where he leads evidence-based interventions and research-driven advocacy.
With a Diploma in Psychosocial Counseling and advanced training in Executive Business Communication and Conflict Management, Ishmael’s approach to leadership is both empathetic and results-oriented. His credentials are reinforced by a portfolio of certifications in health systems, community engagement and youth empowerment.
A proud alumnus of global leadership platforms including The Wave Program, Activate Youth (U.S. Embassy Zambia), AIIDEV’s Africa SDG Initiatives and the United Nations Millennium Fellowship Ishmael is passionate about designing innovative health solutions and mentoring the next generation of change makers.
