Last weekend, as The Tourism Show, we had the opportunity to attend an exciting event at Twalumba Resort as they officially launched Cross Park.
It was an incredible experience to witness a project that continues to contribute to the growth of Zambia’s tourism industry. Cross Park offers exciting experiences including game drives, fishing, great food, and a beautiful location that creates the perfect getaway experience.
We also had the opportunity to speak with Dr Rozious Siatwambo, who shared insights on the vision behind this initiative and the gap they are working to fill within the tourism industry. It was inspiring to hear about the importance of creating more local tourism experiences, creating destinations people can enjoy, and contributing to the continued growth of tourism in Zambia.
During the event, we also had conversations with other attendees who shared their perspectives on tourism and why supporting local tourism matters.
