🐴✨ 𝗤𝗨𝗜𝗘𝗧 𝗡𝗢𝗕𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗬 ✨🐴

𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗬 𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗦𝗛𝗘𝗗. 🤎🖤

After countless hours of tiny pencil strokes, layers of colour, fine hairs and endless attention to detail, I’m so excited to finally share my latest finished piece — 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝗲𝘁 𝗡𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆.
A portrait of a magnificent 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗲 — powerful, elegant and incredibly expressive.
There is something truly captivating about the Friesian. Their flowing mane, deep dark coat, proud presence and those soulful eyes seem to carry a quiet strength all of their own.
I wanted this piece to capture exactly that feeling…

𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝘂𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗲, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗲𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗻𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝗼 𝗺𝗲𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴. 🖤
From the delicate whiskers around the muzzle to the individual strands of the flowing mane, every detail was patiently built up by hand.

I absolutely loved bringing this beautiful soul to life on paper.

🐴✨ 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗛𝗢𝗥𝗦𝗘 𝗜𝗦 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗧𝗢 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗘 𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗩𝗘… ✨🐴

Another update straight from my drawing table! ✏️🤎

This 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞 𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗦 has reached such an exciting stage. So much more of the horse is now emerging from the paper, and I’m absolutely loving the depth and movement beginning to develop in the coat.
The 𝗳𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗲, the subtle variations in the brown coat, the fine hairs around the muzzle and the delicate highlights across the body are all being built up 𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝘆 𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿. 🤎🖤

And then there is the 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗹𝗲… ✨
Those tiny details are slowly being brought to life too!
There is still plenty of white paper waiting for its turn, but I’m really enjoying watching this beautiful 𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘁 develop.
𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 𝗮𝗿𝘁 is all about patience.
𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗸𝗲.

🐴✨ 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗜𝗘𝗖𝗘 𝗜𝗦 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗩𝗘… ✨🐴

Another update from my drawing table! ✏️🤎

This 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞 𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗦 is starting to reveal the character and personality of this beautiful horse, and I’m absolutely loving how it is coming together.
The face is beginning to take shape, with layers upon layers of 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹, carefully building the texture of the coat, the softness of the muzzle, the flowing mane and those wonderfully expressive eyes. 🤎

There is still plenty left to do — especially around the 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗹𝗲, 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗲, 𝗲𝘆𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 — but this is the part of the process I love most.

Watching a blank piece of paper slowly transform into a 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘁 through nothing but patience, pencils and thousands of tiny strokes. ✏️❤️
𝗛𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗯𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗿.
𝗟𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝘆 𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿.
𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗯𝘆 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹.
And slowly… 𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲. 🐴✨

Another little glimpse into what’s currently happening on my drawing table… ✏️🤎

This 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞 𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗦 is slowly coming together, one layer at a time. There is something so satisfying about watching a realistic portrait emerge from nothing but a blank sheet of paper.

The ears are now taking shape, and I’m working carefully through the beautiful variations of 𝗳𝘂𝗿, 𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁, 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗱𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗲𝘅𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲. 🤎🖤
And there is still SO much more to come! 👀

I love this stage of the process — when you can start seeing the personality of the animal developing, while parts of the drawing are still just delicate pencil outlines.

There’s something incredibly exciting about watching a new drawing slowly come to life — 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗳𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿, 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗿, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗮𝘁 𝗮 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲. ✏️🤎

This is the very beginning of my 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 𝗱𝗿𝗮𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴, and I absolutely love this stage — when the subject is still emerging from the paper and the first areas of detail begin to reveal its character.

The ears are already taking shape, with layers of 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗲 building up those beautiful natural textures. 🖤🤎

✨ Memorial Portrait of Beautiful Cola 🖤🐈‍

It has been an absolute honour to create this memorial portrait of the beautiful Cola.

Some pets leave paw prints that never fade, and although Cola's time with her family was far too short, the love, joy, and precious memories she gave will last a lifetime. This portrait was created to celebrate her life and to ensure that her gentle spirit will always have a special place in her family's home and hearts.

To Cola's family, I am so deeply sorry for your heartbreaking loss. Losing a beloved companion is never easy, especially when they are taken from us too soon. I hope this hand-drawn portrait brings you comfort, keeps her memory alive, and serves as a lasting reminder of the unconditional love you shared. ❤️

✨ Work in Progress – Bringing This Beautiful Black Cat to Life 🐈‍⬛🖤

The fur is taking shape, the textures are starting to come alive, and this stunning black cat is slowly emerging from the paper. One of the biggest challenges when drawing black fur is capturing all the subtle highlights, depth, and texture while keeping the coat looking rich and realistic.

The eyes are still waiting for their sparkle—that magical final touch that will truly bring this portrait to life. Every layer of graphite adds more personality, and I can't wait to reveal the finished piece!
