We are proud of the AAA-Team for pulling off a truly successful opening night of Crafting Heritage: A Beautiful Things Showcase at the IDC Gallery.

The evening was more than the start of an exhibition. It was a celebration of heritage, creativity and the remarkable talent of South Africa’s crafters. Moments like these remind us of the importance of platforms that honour tradition while opening doors for innovation and opportunity in the creative sector.

Crafting Heritage: A Beautiful Things Showcase is now open at the IDC Gallery in Sandton.

The exhibition celebrates the remarkable artistry of crafters who carry forward traditions while reimagining them for today. From beadwork and weaving to ceramics and textiles, each piece tells a story of heritage, resilience and creativity.

Crafting Heritage is more than an exhibition. It is a space where heritage and innovation meet, where craft is celebrated not only as art but as a living legacy that sustains livelihoods and inspires the future. Presented through the partnership of DSAC and IDC, the showcase reflects a shared commitment to championing creative entrepreneurship and creating opportunities for the sector.

We invite you to visit the IDC Gallery between 25 September and 03 October 2025 to experience the showcase first-hand and explore the creativity shaping our cultural landscape.
