FROM FEBRUARY UNTIL TODAY(13 August 2026)
An Appreciation Poem for My Amazing Facilitators
From February we started, a team becoming one,
With lessons, laughter, challenges, and days filled with fun.
We came as different people, each with a different way,
But together we built memories that will never fade away.
Boipelo, our hard worker, always giving your best,
When there was work to be done, you never needed a rest.
Your dedication spoke loudly in everything you do,
Today we celebrate the strength we saw in you.
Keorapetse, with your laughter lighting up the room,
You brought joy and happiness wherever you would zoom.
Through serious moments, you found a way to make us smile,
Your laughter made the difficult days worthwhile.
Godfrey, quiet and shy, but always standing strong,
You may not say a lot, but you've belonged here all along.
Sometimes the quietest voices have the most to say,
And your presence has mattered to us every day.
Gomolemo, our little troublemaker, what can we say? π
You certainly kept us entertained along the way!
Behind every joke and every bit of your fun,
Was someone who became an important part of everyone.
Mpho, shy at first, but secretly so funny,
You could make us laugh without spending any money!
Your quiet personality had a humorous side,
And we're grateful for every laugh you provided.
Lelomo, our beautiful Beauty Queen,
You brought your own special energy to the team. π
With confidence, grace and a beautiful heart,
You made this journey brighter from the very start.
Sphiwe, forever connected to those headphones of yours! π§
We sometimes wondered what music you were listening to, of course!
But whether in your own world or right by our side,
You were still part of this team with so much pride.
Seipati, who loves putting everything in order,
You kept things organised when things crossed the border!
Where there was confusion, you helped make it clear,
And your sense of order was always appreciated here.
Olebogeng, a hard worker, quiet and true,
You never needed attention for the things that you do.
Your dedication was seen, even when you said little,
Your actions spoke louder than any riddle.
Hope, soft-hearted and talkative with laughter to share,
You brought warmth and positive energy everywhere.
Your gentle spirit and conversations along the way,
Added something special to each and every day.
From February until today,
We've walked a beautiful journey in our own special way.
We taught, we learned, we laughed, we grew,
And every one of you made the journey worthwhile too.
Today may be our last day together as this team,
But the memories we've created will always remain.
The classrooms, the children, the stories and fun,
The challenges we faced and the victories won.
So don't say goodbyeβsay "until we meet again."
Because some teams become more than colleagues or friends.
You will always be part of the story we started,
A chapter of memories forever held in our hearts.
Thank you, Boipelo.
Thank you, Keorapetse.
Thank you, Godfrey.
Thank you, Gomolemo.
Thank you, Mpho.
Thank you, Lelomo.
Thank you, Sphiwe.
