University of Cape Town Contemporary Youth Dance Training - CYDT Program CTDPS Youth Dance program trains young dancers from all backgrounds preparing them for study at UCT Dance must be your life-line.

University of Cape Town School of Dance's CYDT program provides young South African dancers, at all levels, with expert training in contemporary dance performance. Classes are FREE and function as a training ground for UCT student teachers and research field for it's founder, and UCT faculty member, Lisa Wilson. Classes are at 10:00-1:00 on Saturdays at the UCT School of Dance, Woolsack Drive. A

dmission to the program is by audition as potential dancers must display commitment, focus, discipline and team spirit.

Another great day with our young dancers from the Amy Foundation. Today the experienced the cultural dances sokkie and kiguya from South Africa and Swaziland respectively. The delight on their young faces spoke of black joy!
