For Art Sakes

I created this mixed medium art A2 size for a friend of ours who turned 50. From her pain and tears and the ashes, she arose from under it all and today she's a solid soul. Caring for those who know her and extending only grace and wisdom as far as she goes. Beaming with laughter and joy.
I created custom art.

Here is my tribute to the Nine lives ripped away brutally from family and friends. I did not know them personally, but it broke my heart that one after the other were just removed from this life as if they didn't deserved to exist. Just like that. Their lives did matter. It still matters.

My A3 drawing with mixed meduim took about three weeks to complete. I used pen and charcoal.

The Nine hands, are the Nine lives that were murdered. The red represents their blood, the droplets represents the tears, and the sparkles within the drops represents the hope of justice for them. Their red nails represents their death .. their cry .. no mercy.

In remembrance of our woman. Never forget. Never again.

I am willing to sell prints of my original drawing and my AI version from my own drawing on T-shirts and other meduims. Let's take a stand and let's remind our communities that we will not forget and that we will fight.

The original drawing is also available.

My new craze ... It's totally addictive. Re-using clothing that meant something to me and being creative with the old feel.

I just recently started painting again. Haven't done it in years. And the same goes for my pen drawings. I now know, I'm actually addicted.

Finally. Did I enjoy drawing this one? Totally. +- 10 hours of being lost in drawing. I love drawing feathers. Mediums used: pen, pencils and charcoal pencils.

Another piece I drew. But I did have it enhanced with AI. It really is fun when original art and AI work together.
