This tiny puppy was found covered in purple dye, but after being rescued, he finally got the care and love he desperately needed. πŸ’”βž‘οΈβ€οΈ

He was neutered with the help of Cara Vita Foundation and Catch Burbank, where the entire team immediately fell in love with him. Vets also discovered two ulcers in one eye, likely caused by the dye or scratching. Thankfully, medicated drops are already helping, and his eye is looking better.

The dye had also burned the tips of his little ears, but they’re healing too. πŸ’œ

His new mom and dad are completely smitten and have already fallen in love with their little purple boy. His official name is still to come.

A live turtle was reportedly discovered beneath the debris at Residencia Caribe in Caraballeda, La Guaira, Venezuela, on September 1, exactly 69 days after the devastating double earthquake that struck the country on June 24.

The disaster began with a magnitude 7.2 earthquake, followed just 39 seconds later by a powerful 7.5 earthquake, causing catastrophic destruction across La Guaira and other parts of Venezuela.

Residencia Caribe was among the heavily damaged sites, and rescue and debris-removal operations have continued for weeks. Reports from the area have documented the discovery of survivors and the ongoing search beneath the collapsed structures.

Now, nearly ten weeks after the disaster, rescuers are reportedly working to free another survivor β€” a turtle that was found alive beneath the rubble.

Lily, a female dog from Dhunge Bazaar, Nepal, has been left searching for the people she lost after devastating floods swept through the area.

Now quiet and withdrawn, Lily keeps returning to the rubble each morning, sniffing around as if hoping to find the people she knows.

Local children, Golu and Khushi, have been taking care of her and letting her stay with them at night. But every morning, Lily returns to the disaster site, refusing to give up on the people she is still waiting for.

A dog was among those rescued by the Quezon City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Department (QCDRRMD) during rescue operations along Gumamela St., Barangay Roxas, Quezon City, on Tuesday, August 18.

The area had been submerged in floodwaters for several days as heavy rains brought by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) continued to affect the community.
