What a truly spectacular Saturday and early Woman's Day Celebration with this phenomenal group of ladies 🌸. To everyone who joined in - thank you for bringing so much fun, energy, and laughter! You made the day incredibly special.
We decided to completely change up the format for this class, and I am so glad we did! This group was eager to paint plants, birds, flowers, and butterflies, so I prepared a variety of pre-drawn options for them to choose from.
Instead of guiding them step-by-step through one specific painting, we focused on freedom and personal style. After giving a basic lesson on the fundamentals of watercolour, I let them paint freely! It was so rewarding to move around the room and offer individual guidance as their unique creations came to life.
The creative freedom continued right until the end! I absolutely loved watching each person decide exactly how to creatively incorporate the gold leaf detail into their paintings. The final results were stunning and so full of individual personality.

Happy National (belated) Women’s Day! 🌸✨ What a perfect way to celebrate early with this phenomenal group of ladies at JaJa Tea Garden this past Saturday.

We changed things up with a fun new format! Instead of painting one specific subject, I provided a variety of pre-drawn plants, birds, flowers, and butterflies to choose from. After a basic watercolour lesson, everyone painted freely while I walked around offering individual guidance. I absolutely loved seeing how each person creatively incorporated their gold leaf detail at the end!

Such a relaxing day filled with beautiful art and creativity.

Wat 'n heerlike, kreatiewe naweek by Sion Koffiehuis & Deli in Ellisras!

Hierdie was vir eers ons laaste watercolour workshop in die omgewing, en ons kon regtig nie vir 'n beter sessie gevra het nie. Ons het die gewilde Troupant (Lilac-breasted Roller) geverf, en dit was so spesiaal om te sien hoe elkeen se unieke voëltjie lewe kry op papier.

Die rustige atmosfeer by Sion was net reg vir 'n ontspanne oggend van kuns en kuier. Baie dankie die dames wat dit bygewoon het; julle eindprodukte lyk absoluut fantasties!

Centurion creatives, this one is for you!

Here is a little glimpse into our wonderful beginner-friendly watercolour workshop held at Rietondale Park this weekend! We had such a fantastic time painting, relaxing, and learning together.

Now, it is Centurion’s turn! Join me this coming Thursday for a relaxing creative escape where we will be painting the majestic indigenous Lilac-breasted Roller (aka Troupant), finished off with beautiful gold leaf detail. No prior painting experience is needed; we guide you step-by-step!
