A lot of women weren’t “pretending” to like women.
Some were genuinely exploring comfort, safety, emotional connection and attraction during phases where men made love feel exhausting, unsafe or disappointing.
Then they end up with a man later, and suddenly people act like it was all “just waiting for the right guy.”
Human sexuality and emotional experiences are more complicated than that.
Sometimes it’s attraction.
Sometimes it’s healing.
Sometimes it’s curiosity.
Sometimes it’s both.
