For Mandela Day, 15 unemployed youth have been identified as inaugural beneficiaries of a tailor-made comprehensive intervention to equip them with tools, skills and attitudes aimed to help them improve their situations. 2016 sees the launch of this initiative and will, going forward, become an annual event. Organizations that are supporting this pay it forward initiative are:

Potchefstroom residents are urged to help by donating canned food, household toiletries, clothes and other goods by dropping them off at AGANANG FM in Ikageng or SPARKLING Auto Care Centres, 31 Walter Sisulu Ave by the 22nd of July
