Why I love the KwazuluSpirit Festival so much..

It’s incredible value for people who want to try out healing modalities that may be new or different, whether that’s a session at the Bliss Booths with various forms of reiki..
Or attending a Sound Journey or a Yoga Class, experiencing and learning Tai Chi as well as other conscious dance and movement classes / sessions.

There’s even meditation sessions and a mindful market to browse with wonderfully curated items!

This year there’s even fire walking!!

If you had to pay the usual individual rates for each of these activities they would be R250 -R800 a session, with some activities that would cost you even more on retreat.

It just gives you a smorgasbord of 2 days worth of immersive and delightful experiences along with like minded folks and is the most value for money experiential festival out there!

Plus it’s at the gorgeous Salt Rock Hotel & Beach Resort with an ocean view, the waves, the beach and so much beauty!

Writing new songs and including the sounds of nature here at Elysium Sky (the scrub Robin, and using the PlantChoir which records the electromagnetic signatures of plants and converts them to musical notes)

Being able to share from the depths of your being, in public, even when ‘afeared’ as the Scots would say.

We had this experience as we were about to begin the Sensorium, my trembling and sweating husband confessed how nervous he was. Not just to me, but on a microphone to the entire audience!

He’s not used to being on the stage, he’s normally behind the scenes on tech, filming, mixing and organising. He was so vulnerable in front of the much larger audience than we were expecting…”
