COSPLAY JUDGE ANNOUNCEMENT PART 3! And finally for our judging panel we are so amped to have the very talented Geekigear Cosplay for the very first time.

Having started her cosplay journey during covid, she taught herself to sew, craft and experiment with different materials and techniques. 👩‍🎨

Crafting with her hands has always brought Geekigear joy, and cosplay was the perfect outlet to let her imagination and ability run wild. From sewing and sculpting to prop making, painting and 3D printing - there is always something new to learn.

For her very first cosplay in 2024, she won 1st Place in the Needlework Division at Comic Con Cape Town, and was then named Master Champion in the same competition last year! 👑

We cannot wait to have her here and see what our GQ cosplayers have in store!

COSPLAY JUDGE ANNOUNCEMENT PART 2! What a treat to have Ludus Cosplay back again as one of our guest judges for our main Cosplay Competition.

For those who don't know, this Cape Town-based fabricator and cosplayer has been in the biz for over 15 years, and has made some awesome stuff for the costume and film industry. 🎥

His digital tutorials have helped so many newcomers to cosplay and even provided some tips to a few experts as well.

He has won numerous Cosplay competitions, along with the title of Comic Con Africa Crown Champion in 2022 and the 2nd place winner in the Crown World Finals held in Chicago in 2023! 👑

We absolutely love that he's joining us again on the judging panel. 🥰
