Filip Kormuth Music Studio Filip Kormuth Music Studio offers tuition in piano/keyboards, music theory, music history, aural perception, music appreciation and composition.

Piano is one of the most universal musical instruments. It has been the instrument of choice for most of the great composers. My goal as a music pedagogue is to make sure that musicians who walk through the doors of my studio discover music as a language, that they learn its vocabulary and internalise its grammar rules. I believe that this is the only way one can fully learn and understand the wor

ks of the great masters, and the only way one can fully enjoy the art of making music spontaneously, joyously and effortlessly.

We are looking forward to your next year of fabulous concerts at the Kloof Catholic Church, Our Lady of Mercy. As always, we will have our Students perform (they worked hard through the holidays) and I will perform some of my favourite Etudes by Liszt and Chopin as well as some of my favourite Classical Tangos.
