This Saturday, Kimberleyโ€™s young musical talent takes centre stage for an unforgettable celebration of choral music, youth development and live performance.

We are especially excited that the Marcato Band will be joining the programme for a special performance as part of this showcase of some of the incredible young talent being developed right here in Kimberley.

The evening will also feature the Top 3 Vocal Masterclass candidates, special guests the Kimberley Deanery Youth Choir, and the magnificent Northern Cape Youth Choir, who will bring the programme to a close.

We are incredibly proud of every Marcato student who took to the stage at MADDfest presented by St Patrick's CBC 2026 and achieved wonderful results!

Our students represented Marcato across Flute, Violin, Clarinet, Piano and Guitar, as well as Arco Marcato String Ensemble and the Marcato Band.

For some of our young musicians, this was one of their very first public performance , with some having played their instruments for less than a year. Taking that step onto a stage takes courage, and seeing them grow in confidence and musicianship makes us immensely proud.

A huge thank you to our dedicated tutors, parents and supporters who continue to encourage and invest in these young musicians.

๐ŸŽป A GOLDEN DEBUT FOR ARCO MARCATO!

What an incredible way to make an entrance!

Arco Marcato, our string ensemble, made their debut performance at MADDfest presented by St Patrick's CBC 2026 and achieved an outstanding GOLD with 89%! ๐ŸŽถ๐Ÿ‘

We are extremely proud of every member of the ensemble. The hard work, commitment and many hours of preparation came together beautifully on stage.

For a first performance as an ensemble, this is a remarkable achievement and an exciting beginning to the Arco Marcato journey.

Congratulations, Arco Marcato! ๐ŸŽป

๐ŸŽต Happy Father's Day ๐ŸŽต

Today we celebrate the fathers and father figures who provide the steady beat behind every dream.

Thank you for the encouragement, sacrifices, guidance and unwavering support that help young musicians, artists, and future leaders find their rhythm and reach their potential.

Like the bass line in a piece of music, your influence may not always be the loudest, but it is often the foundation that holds everything together.

From all of us at Marcato Arts Foundation, we wish you a blessed and joyful Father's Day.

๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ฆ Youth Day 2026

Today we remember the courage and sacrifice of the youth of 16 June 1976, whose voices helped shape the future of South Africa.

As we honour their legacy, we celebrate a new generation of young people who continue to inspire through creativity, innovation, leadership and determination.

At Marcato Arts Foundation, we are proud to be part of that journey. Providing opportunities for young people to discover their talents, develop their skills and find their voice through the arts.

The future of our nation lies in the dreams, passion, and potential of its youth.

Happy Youth Day, South Africa.

Thank you for the sacrifices you make, the encouragement you give, and for always being there through every high and low. Your love is the first music we ever hear, and its melody stays with us forever.

From all of us at Marcato Arts Foundation, we wish every mother, grandmother, guardian, and mother figure a beautiful and blessed Motherโ€™s Day. ๐Ÿ’œ
