Final part of how your RISE video entry is scored for finalist selection.

Technical Criteria — 10 points total:

· Spins/Transitions (5 pts) — smooth rotation, consistent momentum, clean exits, seamless linking with no hesitation

· Strength & Flexibility Elements (5 pts) — stable holds with full engagement, controlled range of motion, intentional timing and alignment

Total video entry score: 35 points across Artistic, Ex*****on, and Technical criteria.

Part 2: Ex*****on Criteria

This is how your RISE video entry is scored for finalist selection and division placement.

Ex*****on Criteria — 10 points total:

· Lines & Form (5 pts) — elongated lines with pointed toes, engaged posture, extended limbs, full body awareness and control during all phases, consistent refinement in every shape and transition.

· Element Clarity (5 pts) — complete ex*****on of elements with correct angles, clear presentation of shapes with adequate hold time, proper form in both upright and inverted positions.

Part 1: Artistic Criteria

Here's how your RISE video entry is scored for finalist selection and division placement (the live event scorecard differs and is issued to confirmed finalists):

Artistic Criteria — 15 points total:

· Apparatus Choreography (5 pts) — fluid, creative use of your apparatus, purposeful transitions, varied levels and directions, musicality and storytelling cohesion

· Floor/Dance Integration (5 pts) — purposeful floorwork, diverse movement styles, strong body lines and spatial awareness

· Musical Interpretation (5 pts) — alignment with phrasing and tempo, emotional storytelling, dynamic contrast and stillness
It's not about the hardest trick. It's about whether your video entry makes us feel something.

Which division is right for you?

Amateur | Training: 3 months–2 years | New to pole or aerial. Building foundation. No prior competition rankings needed. This is your first stage moment.

Intermediate | Training: 1–2.5 years | Solid foundation, exploring more complex transitions. Beginner instructors and those with prior Amateur experience welcome.

Advanced | Training: 1.5–4+ years | Significant training history and stage experience. Advanced instructors and prior competition results.

Elite | Training: 4+ years | Seasoned professionals, national-level competitors, top-3 placings at Elite or Advanced level.
