When I moved from Cape Town to Joburg as PUPIL, I created a parallel label — MORE REAL — to serve a bigger market. This was my first show in the new place and the new style.

I filmed the performers inside a physical LED cube for the anamorphic perspective. Viewers could scan a projected QR code and access the synched audio on their phones.

In collaboration with The Theatre & Dance Alliance, Vuyani Dance Theatre and Splitbeam/Gearhouse, for the campaign during the pandemic.

I make visuals, usually for music

This year I switched gears to colour grading and making music videos.

Before, my main focus was creating my own content to use as live visuals for shows. I use my iPhone to record videos that I manipulate and synch with music. I often use a macro lens to further abstract the material, which I project onto various surfaces.
