Mangwaneni Hosts First-Ever Entrepreneurship Training - Community connect

The Mangwaneni Development Committee (MDC) hosted its first entrepreneurship training today, marking a major step toward building a business-driven community in Mangwaneni.

The training was made possible with support from the Mtsambama Inkhundla Council and was facilitated by SEDCO - Small Enterprises Development Company.

The goal of the initiative is to ensure that every homestead in Mangwaneni has a sustainable source of income.

Speaking to the community, MDC Chairperson Mr. Vusi Kunene said:
"We are pleased to have finally had this training as it lays the foundation for our main objective: to commercialize the area. We have more targeted trainings lined up that will focus on specific income-generating projects."

Mr. Kunene also extended appreciation to the Inkhundla Council, specifically the MP, Indvuna yenkhundla, Bucopho, and the Inkhundla Secretary for their support in making the training possible.

The MDC further acknowledged Community Indvuna Mr. Mmango, describing him as a visionary leader committed to seeing the area develop.

Mr. Kunene encouraged neighboring communities to establish their own Community Development Committees, noting that:
"CDCs play a huge role in designing contextualized programs because they understand their areas better."

Looking Ahead
The MDC has scheduled its next training for next Thursday on Goat Farming and Cattle Feedlot Management. The program will run under the slogan "KUSILE MANGWANE".
