What a beautiful sight at the TFG Tamil School Awards Day 2025 ❤️

Our Tamil school students were interviewed by their own peers — confidently, joyfully, and proudly speaking in Tamil. Watching our children express themselves in their mother tongue reminds us just how powerful language, identity, and belonging truly are.

These are the small moments we cherish — moments where we see the true value of community, connection, and culture. Behind every confident child is an asiryar who gives tirelessly of their time, energy, and heart to ensure that our Tamil language and heritage are not lost, but lived, spoken, and celebrated by the next generation.

The pride on these children’s faces says it all. Tamil is not just being taught — it is being loved 💫

If you or your family are interested in learning Tamil, please reach out to us. We would be happy to connect you with the Tamil school closest to you in Gauteng.
Together, we grow. Together, we preserve.

Annaivarakkam Vanakkankal,

I am deeply grateful to the Shivalaya School of Music for allowing me to be part of the magical atmosphere created at the recent “Tantri Sangam” concert. Witnessing a single violin in Carnatic music is already a challenge, given the skill and dedication required. However, seeing someone masterfully play a double violin—creating the effect of a full symphony—was truly astonishing and moving. My sincere thanks to Dr Neyveli S Radhakrishna for sharing this sacred art with us.

I also want to express my respect and appreciation to Sivanathan Pillay anna and Joelene Pillay for gifting us moments of healing and joy through their music. Nathan anna has inspired me since his youth, and hearing his matured accompaniment felt like listening to Lord Siva himself on the Mridangam. Thank you for transporting us to another dimension of rhythm.

Special thanks to Sivaya School of Music, Nada Brahma Music Academy, Shivohum Fine Arts, and Anantha Shravanthi Institute for making this blessed event possible. It was especially heartwarming to see our local family members humbly contributing to the evening’s greatness during their accompaniment on stage
Sending gratitude and blessings to everyone involved.
With love,
Kreasan Moodley
