Today, I was tasked with creating a serene rest area for hardworking individuals. Upon surveying the yard, I felt an instant sense of relaxation and began to envision the space. Considering the abundance of discarded bricks and concrete slabs, I sought to incorporate upcycled elements into a contemporary art design that honors Mother Earth. A member of the management staff later complimented my design, describing it as 'very Zen.' I humbly acknowledged the comment, aware that my faith and the word of God would be infused in the garden. Prior to commencing the project, I reflected on Habakkuk 2:14, which reminds us that God's teachings are as boundless as the sea. What might one achieve by surrendering to God's will in a serene, Zen-inspired garden?

It's been a long time since I posted as A-Class Hobo. Lately, water has been on my mind, especially over the past few weeks. Water is the most important thing for our basic needs. Forgetting to flush the toilet is a bad habit; much research has been done on the sand toilet. That said, I personally think that we are not concerned about the earth. As long as I have lived, I have heard warnings about saving the planet. When floods come, we cry; when we get water restrictions, we cry. Have you ever seen the state of our rivers? I found myself reading from the Bible, Isaiah 58:11, and thought it's time to take a moment and think that we did not create ourselves.
