The current climate is resisting, refusing to accept and submit. Yet some retaining the traditions that suit our informed and altered beliefs and values.
The ultimate disruption is refusal, breaking the traditions that hold us hostage, yet denying the power of the forces that keep us grounded.

Purgatory, to me a mental state of the “in-between” that can be paralleled to the feeling of floating. Hovering in darkness, weightless with no sense of direction or destination. Being content with existing in isolation yet not stagnant or tethered. As the tides role in, you are pushed into situations, or drift from things that might have been important but neglected.
Even in this disillusioned state of floating you have the potential to flourish, in yourself you can grow and bloom into a strong and independent creature, devoid of attachment to others or things.

A small pebble falling onto the surface of a calm pond. A minor disruption, the origin of a prospectively large rippling propagation of energy. The ripple effect that grows with each additional wave, spreading to the edges of the pond.
Like a limpet shell, we often sit, steadfast and resilient to the constant waves crashing into us upon every turn of the tide, resisting adversity but also resistant to change. When we loosen our tethers we are at the mercy of the ripples that propel us into the unknown. We need to be resilient to being capsized but the prospect of growth and transformation is set into motion, adventure and discovery is immanent.

Like weeds we can purge the unwanted parasites from our garden, yet sometimes we have to unearth the weakened or damaged growth and replant it somewhere more favorable and prospective in the hope of re-establishing a new and more resilient evolution.

Like a python gripping and slowly suffocating its prey, we become entangled in this spectacle. It can be subtle, weaving its claws through the fibres of your life, slowly and unassumingly pulling us down, keeping us hostage. Yet the divine grace from above is always within reach, gently wrapped around us, prepared to dislocate this entanglement.
Being tethered and bound can also exert a sense of comfort, safety and security. Stabilized to something concrete and certain. Like a beautiful quilt, stitched together we become an integral and inimitable part of this cohesion.

Heat applied to a body of water, slowly intensified, unnoticed. The temperature reaches an optimal state, becoming unstable as small disturbances start prickling at its core. These small fluctuations become amplified, reaching a boiling point, rippling the surface until a climax is reached, and finally vigorously bubbling with intense energy.
Passion as a hearth for change cannot be contained, it tingles and builds up within. Energy, so primal and intense will not be ignored, it will ignite and set deep-rooted aspirations and desires into motion.

A disruption can start small and relatively unnoticed like a trickle.
A small stream of water trickling through a small opening, seemingly insignificant. But a constant, persistent trickle might cause the surrounding material to start crumbling, weaken and shift…followed by a crack, compromising the integrity of its structure and finally it will shatter.
Riveting the idea that a small change, a consistent trifling action or resilience over a long period of time, can bring about a great revolution.
