Tshepo Motaung Qt , better known as DJ Q.T, is an award-winning South African DJ, producer and music executive whose influence on the house music scene spans more than two decades.

Since the beginning of his journey in 1997, DJ Q.T has established himself as one of the country's most respected music professionals, earning accolades including the Levi's DJ of the Year Award (2001) and the Bacardi DJ Contest title (2002). His rise was further cemented through his work on YFM, where he became one of the station's pioneering specialist DJs.

Throughout his career, he has collaborated with some of South Africa's most celebrated artists and industry figures, including DJ Fresh, DJ Ganyani, Glen Lewis, DJ Mbuso and Durban's Finest. Beyond the decks, he has played a significant role in shaping the music industry through leadership positions at Sheer Music, Soul Candi, Phezulu Records and Shelter Music.

As the creator of the acclaimed Quantized Mix series, DJ Q.T has consistently showcased his passion for quality house music, with Quantized Mix 7 earning Metro FM Music Award nominations for Best Dance Album and Best Urban Gospel Album.

Today, through DJ Q.T Productions, he continues to champion musical excellence, consulting for leading industry brands while mentoring and developing the next generation of talent.

With only 121 days until the Vinyl Camp 2026 campsite officially welcomes all our vinyl and camping enthusiasts, here's the next spinner on the bill! 🙌🏽

Dennis Mashaba, better known as Dokotela Siyeni, is a respected vinyl collector and selector whose journey through music spans more than two decades.

His passion for music began in 2000, when he started building his vinyl collection through legendary record stores such as House Africa Records, Soul Candi Records, Phezulu Records, Vinyl Joint and Retro Music Record Store. It was during this formative period that he crossed paths with influential figures in the culture, including 2Lani The Warrior, further deepening his appreciation for the art of collecting and selecting music.

Inspired by house music pioneer Glen Lewis during his early broadcasting days on what is now Phalaphala FM, he immersed himself in the culture from a young age. While still in high school, he drew inspiration from respected names such as Stopper Mashaba, Eric Ngobeni and DJ Ganyani, studying their mixtapes and refining his understanding of sound and musical storytelling.

A pivotal influence in his development was DJ Fingers, who introduced him to the finer details of mixing, timing, track selection and the traditional art of beatmatching using pitch control, mastering the craft without relying on modern digital aids.

Over the years, his love for house music has taken him beyond Gauteng, performing across neighbouring provinces and countries including Durban, Eswatini and Lesotho. Along the way, he has shared stages with some of South Africa’s most influential house music pioneers, including Glen Lewis, DJ Ganyani, Vinny Da Vinci, DJ Christos and many others.

Rooted in vinyl culture and driven by a genuine love for music, Dokotela Siyeni continues to honour the traditions of house music while sharing timeless sounds with audiences wherever the journey takes him.

Zindaba Maseko, better known as Deejay Ndaba, is a Middelburg born & raised seasoned selector whose journey through music spans more than three decades.

His passion for music began in 1995, playing across various establishments in his hometown and exploring a wide range of genres including kwaito, hip hop, downtempo and disco. Inspired by legendary Metro FM DJ Sammy T, he developed a deep appreciation for the power of music to connect people and shape culture.

Between 1997 and 1999, Deejay Ndaba began building his vinyl collection through BMG, supported by close friends and fellow music enthusiasts Sipho, Tuta, Panky, Wiseman and Pat, who shared the same passion for discovering and preserving great music.

As the new millennium arrived, his reputation continued to grow throughout Mpumalanga, sharing stages with respected selectors across Witbank and beyond. Over the years, he has performed alongside some of South Africa’s most influential names, including DJ Christos, Vinny Da Vinci, Ganyani, DJ Fresh, Black Coffee, DJ Tira, Glen Lewis, DJ Jawz and many others who have contributed to the country's rich dance music culture.

Beyond the decks, Deejay Ndaba has always been committed to nurturing local talent. Through his Street Bash events, he created platforms that provided opportunities for emerging DJs to showcase their skills and connect with audiences, helping to strengthen the local music community.

Welcome to the decks, Buddy Vinchez Phetla!

Buddy’s journey began in 1999, with his love for sound evolving in 2003 when he moved to Pretoria and immersed himself in vinyl culture. A true 90s sound enthusiast, his sets fuse jazz, live elements, vocals, funk, disco, neo-soul, and blues, creating a mature and soulful deep house identity that moves spirit, body, and soul.

Throughout his tenure, Buddy has shared decks with Vinny Da Vinci, DJ Bubbles, Vibe Montez, Paledi, French Champeign, Corry Rascco, Scotch Flavio, Jazzman, Dratz Project and many more.

From House 22 and Horn Africa to Bar 9, Chicago Club, Urban Nights, and Soul Meets House, Buddy’s sound has travelled across Limpopo and beyond. Between 2008–2011, Buddy co-championed the Spiritual Deep House Sessions with Vibe Montez, the late Scotch Flavio, and Uncle Cblaster, helping advance South Africa’s deep house culture.

His motto? House music is a feeling - one that transcends the spirit, body, and soul.
