I was rapping about poverty, heartbreak, sleepless nights, and the reality of growing up seeing dreams feel impossible.

We had little… but the vision inside me was always bigger than my situation.

Today the sound has grown, the skill is sharper, and the journey changed me — but my message never changed. 🔥

I still speak for the kids from the kasi with talent but no platform.
I still speak for families struggling in silence.
I still speak for dreamers trying to survive while chasing purpose. ❤️

Every scar became lyrics.
Every struggle became motivation.
Every setback became part of the story.

I may have evolved as an artist…

“As a citizen, it is difficult to access employment opportunities without proper documentation, especially when delays and administrative challenges continue to affect many people.
While the youth are trying to build better futures, many are left frustrated, stressed, and unheard because opportunities often depend on papers before potential.

Through this music, I speak for those who feel forgotten by the system, the people still fighting every day just to survive, provide for their families, and protect their dignity.

This is more than just a song — it is a message from the streets, from the unemployed graduates, from the talented youth losing hope every day. Many people are willing to work, willing to build the country, willing to change their lives, but they continue to face barriers that leave them feeling invisible in their own nation.

We come from a land rich in gold, culture, talent, and history, yet many families still live in poverty, pain, and uncertainty. The voices of the ordinary people are often ignored until frustration turns into anger. Through these lyrics, I want the government and society to understand the daily reality faced by many citizens trying to survive honestly.

Music has always been a voice for the people, and this track represents the cries, fears, dreams, and hopes of a generation searching for change. It is not about hate — it is about awareness, healing, accountability, and a better future for the youth of South Africa.

MESSAGE TO THE YOUTH FROM EMBA SQUAD ARTS & ENTERTAINMENT

To every young person carrying a dream, a vision, or a talent inside their heart:

Please understand that not every gift reveals its purpose immediately. Some talents take years to develop, years to be noticed, and years to fully understand. The process can become painful because while you are working hard, it may feel like nothing is changing. You begin to question yourself, your future, and even the value of your gift.

But that delay does not mean your talent has no purpose.

Some journeys take longer because they are preparing you for something greater than you can currently see. Growth requires patience, discipline, sacrifice, and resilience. Many successful people were once ignored, rejected, and underestimated before their gift finally created opportunities for them.

At EMBA Squad, we want the youth to understand this clearly:

The reality is that many talented young people lose confidence because their environment constantly tells them their dreams are unrealistic. Poverty, unemployment, lack of support, and daily struggles can make a person feel like giving up before their journey even begins.

But history continues to prove that greatness can rise from difficult places.

How did the industry receive us?

The honest truth is that the industry is not always fair to artists. Sometimes it treats you like a man who is unemployed in his own home — ignored, overlooked, and never truly valued. People only start recognising your presence when you finally have something they can benefit from.

When there are important gatherings, meetings, or opportunities, you are often left out like you are not part of the family. They would rather call someone who is already successful or financially stable. That is the painful reality of the industry.

But instead of giving up, focus on building yourself and your brand. The game does not change overnight. You have to stay consistent, improve your sound, sharpen your image, and make sure people remember your name every time they see your work. A strong fan base is built through patience, quality content, performances, networking, and staying connected to the people who truly support you.

Many artists fail because they wait for the industry to open doors for them. The truth is you must create your own lane. Use every opportunity to market yourself, collaborate with others, push your music online, and stay active in your community. Even small support matters because every real supporter can bring ten more people to your movement.
