Fellow South Africans!
Many years ago, 68 years in counting from 9 August 1956, our leaders take it to the street with a defiance campaign. The struggle was to oppose the Pass Laws enforced by Apartheid government against Black people.
The campaign was led by strong, dedicated... and fearless women of our country. They felt that enough is enough. They made their voices heard by Apartheid regime.
Salute to Albertina Sisulu, Helen Joseph, Rahima Moosa, Lillian Ngoyi, and Sophia de Bruyn to mention few organised the Marched of approximately 20 000 women or all races.
The same struggle continues with different form and shape. These includes, LGBTQia+ violence, Socio-economic challenge, Inequality, Drugs and alcohol abuse, human trafficking, Children and women abuse and last but not least unemployment.
Grandmothers, mothers, anties, and sisters we we cannot thank you enough for what you have done for the betterment of this beautiful country.
The struggle continues -
A luta continua.
