Microblading

Eyebrows, whether you like them arched, straight, bold or feathered, are arguably the most important facial feature. For decades we have powdered, shaded, pencilled, used brow gels and tattooing techniques to get the perfect shape. But now there's a very natural option that delivers a semi-permanent result :

Microblading is an art technique that uses realistic 6 dimensional imagery to create strokes that look just like real hairs. The technique of implanting pigment in the skin is said to date back thousands of years, but the trend towards using the technique for eyebrows is believed to have emerged in Asia in late 1990’s. By 2015 Microblading had become the most popular method of cosmetic eyebrow tattooing in Europe and the United States. It is perfect for those who want to define, reconstruct, cover gaps, or fill-in brows that no longer grow as a result of years of tweazing. The results are natural and undetectable.

The Microblading process differs from tattooing. We use a special microblading pen to draw on individual hair strokes one by one. It is an extremely meticulous process that takes around two hours to complete and attention to detail is vitally important. During the first hour we draw in the shape with a cosmetic pencil according to specific measurements. This is the longest most important step and cannot be rushed.

A topical numbing cream is applied to the brow area before the procedure begins and a gel anesthetic is applied during the procedure to minimise any discomfort, but it is relatively pain free.
