(Imbokodo Picnic Event Objectives)

• To encourage women to get educated and skilled.
• To encourage women to get involved in entrepreneurship
• To share opportunities and information that helps women make
money for themselves.
• To share bursaries information.
• To create awareness around diseases that affect women.
• To instigate dialogue around depression, as it is on the rise, and women are dying silently.
• To encourage women to take good care of themselves and taking time off to rest from time to time.
• To discourage alcohol and drug abuse among women.
• To empower all women who are under disadvantages.
• Awareness of Gender Based Violence.

Imbokodo Picnic is a ladies only event. It is a celebration of women
by women with only women. It is an adventurous event for friends
who have not had time with each other to come to this event together. It is a reunion and we want female friends from all the 9
South African provinces to make time to catch up in this event. We
also want to capture the stories of these women reuniting.
