For our Dance Parents :)

In 2026,
I’ll buy the dance shoes.
Drive to your rehearsals.
Drive to conventions and competitions.
Sit in the crowd.
Run back and forth to help you change between dances.
Cheer the loudest.
Wipe your tears.
Blast your favorite music in the car.

I’ll pack the snacks.
Wait patiently through adjudications.
Find the missing jazz shoe.
Organize costumes late at night.

I’ll roll out of bed for your 6 am call time with my coffee.
I’ll know every name on your team,
memorize your schedule by heart,
and keep my camera ready for every big moment.

Because these are the days I’ll look back on and miss—
the busy, beautiful blur of it all.
The car rides filled with laughter and pep talks.
The nerves before you go on stage.
The joy after a win and the hugs when it didn’t go your way.

I’ll give it my all for you,
because I know I won’t have this moment in time forever.

UPDATE : Evie also achieved 🥈 in her B League Musical Theatre Mini Solo and also came 🥈 in her B League Acro mini solo (choreographed by me nogal)!
What a super star!!

And…our beautiful Krissy won her Tap A League Children solo!!!!! Congratulations to her teacher !!!!

I am blown away….we have some students competing in DanceStar World Dance Masters in Croatia as we speak…and our Evie came 🥇 in A league for her Mini Lyrical Solo!!!!! AAAAAAA!!!!!!
We had a few things in Zero Hour - and now we wait for the rest of results from today and then the other pieces tomorrow.
I am so proud of my little team!!!!!!!!!!!!! And the moms who are holding the fort for me!!!!!

I love what I do. I love teaching Dance. I love working with kids. I love teaching kids to dance and all things dance. I love chatting to our dance family moms. I love celebrating all the different kinds of milestones these kids achieve as they grow up in the studio and in my classroom. I am so privileged that I get the chance to develop such strong bonds with each and every child that walks in my door, and with each mom (and dad) too. I have so many “kids” my heart is always full. Makes all the hours and admin worth it. Thank you parents for sharing your kids with me. I will never take it for granted and I love them all with all my heart.

What an end to an epic comp and especially so early in the year!!

Everyone deserved a good break this past week as we switch focus to exams and the next round of comps! And new work! And some of our girls representing in Croatia at World Dance Masters!

Hard work and dedication and LOVE of what you do really do pay off!!!
