As an Uber creative, I strive for excellence, integrity and innovation across all personal endeavours. With a solid foundation and experience in music cognition, neuropsychology and education, I implement a brainy, non-dualistic approach in sound solutions and academic consultation. My passion for creative sound and music married with a solid academic foundation, challenge me to find client sol
utions based on a combination of scientific and artistic approaches. This approach when matching products and brands with sound, has lead me to adventurous experimental collaborations: I've created original or adapted sound and music for products spanning from film and TV to wine labels, graphic novels, logos, corporate video, ceramic vessels and more recently mobile game applications. In parallel with these artistic ventures, I work in academia ā primarily in academic quality assurance, academic programme development, and ensuring the compliance and accreditation for private Institutes of Higher Education. I thrive in a dynamic environment where continuous growth and diversity leads to new solutions. In addition to being creative, flexible and self-directed, I consider some of my best qualities a thorough, hands-on approach. I function well independently and as part of a team; have well developed problem-solving skills and cultural sensitivity. Being passionate about people-development, I am experienced in coaching individuals, assisting them to be the best versions of themselves. I've been working in the Higher Education sector for 2 decades - as lecturer, program designer, curriculum developer, assessor and moderator. Since 2014, I am specialising in academic management, Institutional compliance, accreditation and academic quality assurance. A substantial part of my portfolio focussed on student mental health support, staff development and new programme submission. I have a vast thirst for the accumulation of new knowledge, ideas and competences, and will probably continue this lifelong learning and practicing of new skills until Iām 80ā topics of interest to include emotional intelligence, artificial intelligence, contemplative spirituality, psychology, the Enneagram, neuroscience, cognition and mindful living practices.
