When we think of the things of this world we become like the things of this world. This is a simple truth we substitute for an emotional road of ups and downs at times

What you think you become. A reference to this in the Word of God is:

"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is- His good, pleasing and perfect will" Rom 2:12

Don't confuse God with with words of those who say He'll take all your problems away. He can, but even if he He didn't, that won't change who He is.

God! The Holy Lord of Lords! The Great I Am! The one who was, is and forever will be!

Take heart of this. Love the Lord with all your heart. Not with all your hearts desires to come true.
