⚽ Loans have grown up. There are now three separate loan orders.
LOAN OUT starts a loan - anything from one to ten weeks, with both clubs entering the same number on the same week. LOAN EXTEND lengthens one that is already running. And LOAN RECALL ends a loan early, which makes it the only deal in the game that one club can do entirely on its own, without the other agreeing to it.
A few things worth knowing before you use them:
📤 The borrowing club pays double the player's salary each week, and the whole lot goes to the owning club. The owner carries on paying his wage though - a loaned-out player never leaves your wage bill.
➕ On LOAN EXTEND, the number you enter is the new total, not the extra weeks. Three weeks left and you want three more? You enter six.
📥 LOAN RECALL always costs money. Whichever club ends it pays the other the player's full weekly salary for every week that was still left to run. Recall a ten-week loan in week one and it will sting.
🔓 And loans still sit outside the transfer restrictions - no cooling-off window at either end, and they do not count towards the limits between two clubs. So two managers can keep helping each other out all season without ever running out of room.
All three work on non-playing members too, so your spare coach can go and earn his keep somewhere else for a while.
