in die boom voor my venter
hang sterre
elke nag.

daar is flardes
van wat was
en is,
kranse, soos geheime,
waaroor die wyses swyend waak,
wat roep
terwyl niks my hier ontbreek nie

ek kyk na die silwer see
'n duisend voëls sing
planete skitter
elke nag
wil ek weer die lugroete oop...
na die rooi deur
agter die bandeloosheid
