The pull. My family crest, did you see it?

Derived from the Dutch words "zuid," meaning "south," and "hout," meaning "forest,"

Bezuidenhout extend back to the 17th century, it can be assumed that the family was one of status.

The beehive on a wooden stand represents apiculture (beekeeping) or acting as honey and wax merchants. In classic heraldic symbolism, a beehive also represents industry, community, teamwork, and diligence

The bees symbolize hard work, industriousness, loyalty, and productivity. They represent a family that values a strong work ethic and collaboration.

Yes I'm a little quiet, finding time between my busy schedule to feed my soul, I decided to sketch.

I miss art eventhough I'm still busy with a commission. I miss the authenticity of art and creators out here. My brain is working over time on what is next and why I've been quiet. How does one stand out in marketing terms and presenting yourself competing against what is out here. It is super disheartening, BUT I MISS ART!

I haven't disappeared just contemplating on how to stand up against Ai and fake content that has no moral or soul.

Well.... January kick off with a bang! Not in my favour though.

From the 8th I had to mark and pack my youngest son's entire life starting boarding high school on the 15th, two hours drive away from home. And obs sorting stationary and uniforms for both him and his sister.

Then that weekend I had to basically clear the entire house and move out because the owner decided to fix the ceilings because he neglected to seal his roof for three years. The 28th they were done and I could a professional cleaning company out and that last weekend of Jan I moved everything back. Between all of that I fetch me eldest in Cape Town that did a week long course too while working half day for my employer.

So thought right...... my year is starting in Feb. BUT OH HELLLL NO!! I'm dealing with the wellbeing of my daughter, my middle boy being homesick and my eldest who matriculated last year who is finding his feet.

So...... I'm not gone...... just insanely occupied with life, mom alone....... because my man is working away for almost 11 weeks...... so bare with me, see you soon!
