What Exhibition is coming up next? 💭

Our Quiet Wilderness Exhibition invites viewers into a world of stillness, reflection and quiet depth.

Through the emotional language of blue and green, this exhibition explores colour as more than what we see — it becomes an atmosphere, a memory, a feeling.

There is something undeniably calming about these tones. They call to mind endless skies, deep oceans, dense forests, and untouched landscapes. In a world that moves quickly, Quiet Wilderness offers a softer invitation: to slow down, to linger and to reconnect with a quieter part of ourselves.

Artists were asked to create works composed of at least 85% blue and/or green, interpreting these colours in ways that feel personal, intentional and meaningful.

🗓️ Exhibition Launching — 12 June 2026.
🥂 Opening event — 12 June, 5:30pm for 6pm

Held by the Sea opens for viewing from tomorrow — and trust us, this is one you don’t want to miss 🌊

Due to the wild Noordhoek weather this weekend, we’ve made the call to move the opening celebration (the wine, the gathering, the good vibes) to next Friday, 15 May, 17:30 for 18:00.

The exhibition will still be open to view from tomorrow, so you can sneak in a quiet first look before the festivities.

We’re sorry for the change in plans — but living in beautiful Noordhoek does mean dancing a little with the weather now and then.

As we move into mid-year, this is your moment to pause, reflect and realign. Whether you’re setting fresh goals for the months ahead or beginning to envision your next chapter, this workshop will guide you through meaningful exercises, deep reflection and hands-on creation.

Through mixed media and collage techniques, you’ll craft a powerful visual roadmap — something personal, inspiring, and uniquely yours.

This brings our magical Advent Calendar series to a close, and what a journey it has been. Over the past 24 days we’ve had the joy of showcasing the incredible talent of our artists and watching this miniature artwork grow day by day in the gallery.
