three years ago the COVID-19 pandemic brought the theatre industry to a screeching halt, resulting in the longest shutdown in broadway’s history.
three years later broadway is back, but not without scars. which lessons have been heeded, and which have been forgotten? as we approach the third anniversary of the broadway shutdown, let us allow space for both celebration for what we’ve overcome, and also remembrance for where we’ve been.
