This body of work explores the emotional and psychological weight carried by Black men in township environments, where dreams are often buried under pressure, silence, and alcohol.
It is not just about addiction — it is about unspoken pain, lost identity, and the quiet fight to reclaim self-worth.

#1 “The Weight of Tomorrow”

Description:

He sits in the quiet of the township, surrounded by life moving forward without him. In his hands rests not just his face, but the burden of choices, missed chances, and silent battles no one sees.
The bottle at his feet is not the beginning of his story — it is the result of everything he could not carry alone. Regret lingers heavier than intoxication, and tomorrow feels further away with every passing day.
This work reflects the emotional weight carried by many men who were once full of dreams, now trapped between who they were and who they fear they have become.
