Thought it’s about time that I introduce myself on here…
Hi my name is Irene, the artist behind Reën Studios. I’m a graphic designer by day and an artist whenever I get the chance.
I’m married to an incredible person, who also works part time as my unpaid quality control officer before any commission leaves the house. We have two ginger cats that live with us rent free😉 (Joey is the one in the video, he demands a lot of attention).
I work with acrylic paint and landscapes are where my heart is. They’re my favourite thing to paint and honestly my favourite commissions to take on. There’s something really special about painting a moment that matters to someone. 💕 I definitely got my love for painting from my mom who always filled our home with colour and her own art.
I studied Visual Communication Design, but painting itself I learnt by observing the subject that I’m painting, and learning techniques from other artists. A lot of my inspiration comes from from nature, especially out on the water when we go kayaking.
And the most important thing about me: I am a child of God. Not a perfect one, but I try my best every day.☺️ I wouldn’t be me without Him, and this world would be a lot less colourful.
I’m currently working on some subtle Christian art and some landscapes that I genuinely can’t wait to share🎨
