What an honour to get to work with .gen.co students on some improvisation and movement discovery methods I have cultivated and evolved over the last few years. 🎨

I find that this place of workshop and exploration is where style is identified. At .gen.co we focus on identifying your individuality as a mover , we take you outside of learning structure as we know it and into a self - exploring, creative unlocking and boundary breaking SAFE educational environment. We focus on the individual & on how to integrate in community and culture as an individual. Always method to the madness and here is a glimpse into it. 🪴🏡

Life Lately He has filled them with skill to do every sort of work done by engraver (craftsmen) or by a designer or by an embroiderer in blue & purple & scarlet yarns and fine twined linen or by weaver — by any sort of workman or skilled designer.

The Artist is more than one facet of their art form (is required to be more) & are anointed in more areas than just the obvious medium… as example in short “ I Zoë, am in broad terms a Dancer BUT that one word embodies so much” . I am both Teacher & Student, Trainer & Training, Physically Demanded, Mentally Demanded & Emotionally Demanded, Performer & Audience member, Choreographer & Dancer, Technically Skilful & Vulnerably Performative, Business Orientated & Community Driven, Athletically / sport inclined & Art-form lead / inspired… there is so much embodied when given the Godly Assignment of an artist / creative however… first and foremost I am a follower of Christ & that is where the balance is found and the value is marked. So… don’t overlook the artist, the artist is a powerful craftsmen of the Glory of The Kingdom.

So much gratitude for my life and the opportunities God has given me to work with the incredible people I am blessed to work with, teach and learn from. This journey is humbling yet empowering through Christ & what a beautiful balance that is🪴

A Generation for The Glory Of God…

Been a while since I posted some personal things on this account, there has been a lot that has happened over the last few months, not externally but internally, God has been working in my heart He has been strengthening me and Humbling me, He has reminded me why I am here … I am here because of GRACE & nothing else, I get to enjoy this life with those I hold dear, in the work I am most passionate about, in the talents I have been given because of only 1 reason… & That Is Jesus Christ, Jesus Christ Putting His Life Down For My Own, that is why I get to enjoy this life… so humbling, it is by nothing that I do, can do, will do, have done , could’ve done … but by everything He Does, Can Do, Will Do , Has Done & Is Doing. I am so Grateful for this life and all I get to enjoy through His Grace. I hope to share more with you guys as we move through this God given life but for now we are in reconstruction … for now God is doing the unseen work so that what is produced as seen work moving forward can have the impact that He Intends.
