Meet our artist - Nelda Leach

I am a creative artist with a passion for restoration, texture, and transforming ordinary pots into timeless statement pieces. My work is inspired by beauty found in imperfection, aged finishes, and classic designs that tell a story. I enjoy working with my hands and find deep fulfilment in the quiet, reflective process of creating and restoring pots and leather pieces.

Potify was born two years ago when a client approached me to rescue his extra-large garden pots. They had previously been painted a plain royal blue, but what he truly envisioned was an aged, rugged, yet classic Roman-inspired look.

I decided to take a chance creatively, and the transformation exceeded all expectations. The client was so impressed that I was asked to paint several more sets of pots — and from there, Potify continued to grow through word of mouth and new creative challenges.

Over time, my work expanded from painting and transforming pots to restoring broken and damaged pieces also. What began as experimentation developed into a passion, and today I can confidently say that I restore and paint each piece by hand with care, creativity, and attention to detail.

Working on these pieces has become a quiet and meaningful process for me. Whether old or new pots, each pot carries its own character and story, and I enjoy bringing them back to life — restoring, and painting them to perfection.

Business owners have enthusiastically embraced my work, which has led to numerous commissioned projects and custom restorations.
