Ubumbano Youth Choir is a passionate group of young voices dedicated to spreading faith, unity and praise through music. Rooted in gospel and hymn tradition, we bring communities together one song at a time.

For our next Mpumalanga performance, we’re combining voices with 4 other leading choirs for one unforgettable afternoon of worship. “Songs & Hymns” is more than a concert - it’s a celebration of faith, culture and togetherness.

Meet the team behind Kamvalethu Harmonic Singers

From left to right, standing under the Boksburg sky with purpose and pride:

Lutho Nompalweni – Choir Director
The musical heartbeat of Kamvalethu. Lutho leads our rehearsals and shapes the sound that keeps our Xhosa heritage alive through song.

Siya Quana – Chairperson
The steady hand guiding our vision. Siya oversees the choir’s direction and ensures we stay true to our mission of uplifting young voices in the community.

Eric Zweni – Founder
The man who started it all. Eric had the dream of creating a space where culture, discipline, and music could raise the next generation. His heart speaks to that pride in heritage.

Sethu Bunu – Operations Manager
The engine behind the scenes. Sethu makes sure the logistics, planning, and day-to-day running keep the choir moving forward.

Together, this team is more than management — we’re brothers working to preserve culture, build character, and give young people a stage to be heard.
