Clay is the silent language of my heart, therefore I trust my work more than my words to reveal my emotions, passions and faith. On my creative pathway with porcelain I am awed by the mystery of creating a unique piece of art. I see my personal growth revealed in my work while I discover and grow towards unlocking the wonderworld of porcelain. When people look at my work, I’d like them to be capti
vated by the translucent qualities of porcelain. In the words of Leo Tolstoy: “Art is a microscope which the artist fixes on the secrets of his soul, and shows people these secrets which are common to all”. Galleries where work are exhibited include, Johan Smith Art Gallery in Clarens, Is art at le quartier francais in Franschhoek, Gallery on Leviseur in Bloemfontein and Art in Groot Brakrivier.
