Key Job Outputs (What You Will Do)
-Assist in operating equipment according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)Adhere to HACCP principles
-Assist in identifying appropriate Corrective Action where necessary
-Report on wastage and record downtime
-Ensure that equipment and work areas are clean
-Rectify and report all deviations to the Supervisor
-Ensure that all safety regulations are adhered to and report any unsafe practices
-Adhere to personal and factory standards in respect of hygiene
Essential Skills & Qualifications
-Matric / Grade 12 (with Mathematics and Physical Science) OR a 3-year Tertiary Qualification (From NQF6)
-Successfully pass a Placement Assessment
-Clean Criminal Record
-Medically fit
Key Attributes and Competencies
-Functionally literate and numerate
-Understanding of Process Specifications/Recipes/Interpretation of data
-Ability to read and understand SOPs
-Accuracy and attention to detail
-Able to work shifts which also include overtime and weekends
-Team player with high levels of personal discipline
-Willing to be trained and multi-skilled
