✨ Last night with Wandering Stock. Stoked to welcome this ensemble back to The Woodshed for another night of amazing music & dancing. Hard to believe it’s only their 3rd gig! Their professional musicianship really shows. Give them a follow if you’re not already, and if you missed out last night, they’re back in Sep for another show 💫 also thanks for Dusty Burnell with Leah Land for opening the night with beautiful folk numbers 💖

✨ New Collective Market coming ✨

🌿 We're creating a makers-and-collectors market with a cool, values-led vibe — and looking for aligned vendors. That means vintage garments and collectables, local fashion makers, artists, bands selling merch, and food & beverage folks with the right licences and certs.

🌻 Good for people. Good for the planet. Good taste. That's the kaupapa.

Think that's you? Applications close July 31st, successful vendors notified 8th August. Link to form below 👇

We'd love to hear from you 💖

🌟 It's been almost two weeks since we wrapped up New Zealand Music Month, and we're only just catching our breath enough to say a proper thank you — so here we are, with some beautiful photos from the night to go with it.
🌚 Te Marama Puoro o Aotearoa 2025 was one of the most ambitious things Beagle Radio has taken on, and honestly, it delivered. None of it happens without a lot of people showing up.

❤️‍🔥 To everyone who came to The Woodshed — thank you. The room had a great energy that night, and that's down to you.

🎶 To our performers — Huanui College Kapa Haka rōpū, The Advocators, Fork, DJ Netti Page, and DJ Jasper Lindsay — thank you for bringing it. The night was a genuine reflection of what makes music in Te Tai Tokerau worth celebrating.
To every artist who came through the studio for our Live to Air series — Kyle Fury, Carina & Sam, Joby Hopa, Osheen, Little Ripples, Dusty Lands, Nina Lane & Bryan Owens, Mermaid Bait, The Advocators, and Leah & friends — thank you for trusting us with your music. Every session was a highlight.

🌟To DJ Anneliese aka DJ Speece and DJ Leah from ONEONESIX, who hosted those sessions — you made each one feel easy and warm. And to our volunteers — you are the reason any of this is physically possible.

🥰 A genuine thank you to Creative Northland for the funding support that made the Live to Air Pilot Series and Wrap Gig happen. It means a lot.

📡 And to everyone who tuned into 88.1FM, listened online, shared posts, or bought a ticket — thank you. Every bit of it goes back into keeping this station on air.

Ngā mihi nui 💛
