RIP DON CONNOR - It is with the heaviest of hearts that Re-Creation Concerts announces the passing of one of our most talented artists… Don Connor. 5 years ago we were tasked with managing the reunion of the TEDDY PENDERGRASS BAND 20th Anniversary of his 2001 comeback tour.

The original members had discovered a new talent in Don Connor whose on stage presence brought audiences out of their seats and into his heart by the most soulful singing voice and smoothest style since seeing Teddy himself.

Don suffered some health issues the last few years and now God has surely brought him to lead one of his heavenly choirs.

There was so much ahead for Don as he was working on his original music and The Teddy band carries on with a new voice now too..but this video shot when they first re-united backing Don truly shows him at his best:

Don Connor had a way of loving that the world doesn’t see often anymore — wide open, unguarded, and poured straight from the heart. He wore his emotions like a badge of honor, never afraid to show how deeply he cared, never shy about lifting others up with that big, beautiful spirit of his. Losing him feels like someone dimmed a light we all depended on. Donny wasn’t just a friend — he was warmth, laughter, honesty, and soul wrapped into one unforgettable human being.

And that voice… that voice could stop time. He didn’t just sing — he gave himself to every note. He knew how to work a room with nothing but a smile and a breath, how to make the crowd lean in, how to make the girlies melt with a single sound. When Donny stepped onstage, the world felt brighter, fuller, more alive. His gift wasn’t just talent — it was connection, pure and real.

We are absolutely heartbroken. There’s an ache that sits heavy knowing he’s gone, knowing that laugh and that voice won’t fill the room the way they used to. But his sound — that unmistakable, soul‑deep sound — will forever resonate in my heart. It will echo in every memory, every story, every moment he touched with his kindness and his music. Donny, you were loved more than you ever knew, and you will be missed more than words can hold.
