WHAT. A. SHOWCASE! 🥹
More than 160+ community members joined us last Thursday at Maker Faire Daytona at the Deltona Regional Library for an unforgettable evening of MAD science, cosplaying, robotics, creativity, curiousity, and hands-on STEM fun!

🤖Met the incredible Ghostbusters of Daytona: a team made up of Volusia County law enforcement officers, firefighters, veterinarians, teachers, photographers, and other community heroes.

🤖 Buster, the Bethune-Cookman Robot Dog, made plenty of new friends throughout the night.

🤖 The Daytona State College School of Engineering introduced kids (and adults!) to the world of digital soldering through interactive demonstrations.

🤖 Triforce Robotics, DeLand, University HS & Taylor Middle School regional champions, returned with two of their amazing competition robots.

🤖 The talented members of the Volusia Woodworkers Guild and the Wood Carving Ladies wowed everyone with their craftsmanship and skills!

🤖 Award-winning mural artist Natasha Azari painted live while Volusia County STEM teachers led fun, hands-on STEM activities for all ages.

🗡️Cosplayers of all ages brought imagination to life, fashion designers debuted stunning chainmail creations, and Weirdly Wired showcased their incredible combat-ready lightsabers!!

💻 And of course, our friends at the Deltona Regional Library demonstrated the fascinating Turing Tumble mechanical computer, proving that computing can be completely hands-on!

A huge THANK YOU to every maker, exhibitor, and families who helped make this event such a success. Seeing our community come together to learn, create, and be inspired is exactly what Maker Faire Daytona is all about. ❤️

Our next Maker Faire Daytona is happening this October... stay tuned⬆️we'll be dropping the official date soon! 👀
