วันที่ 27 มิถุนายน 2569 บริษัท Maxion Game ผู้พัฒนาและให้บริการเกม MU MAX Age ได้จัดกิจกรรม MU MAX Age: THE AWAKENING - Alpha Test Offline ณ สตูดิโอ HQ BY MAYG, Papaya Studio โดยมีสื่อเกมและอินฟลูเอนเซอร์ชื่อดังที่ได้รับเชิญเข้าร่วมทดสอบเกมมากกว่า 100 คน นับเป็นการเปิดตัวเกมต่อสาธารณะครั้งแรกนับตั้งแต่ Project ได้เริ่มพัฒนา และเป็นอีกหนึ่งก้าวสำคัญก่อนเข้าสู่ช่วงของการเปิดให้บริการอย่างเป็นทางการ
การจัด Alpha Test Offline ในครั้งนี้มีเป้าหมายเพื่อทดสอบทั้งประสิทธิภาพของระบบเกม ความไหลลื่นของภาพกราฟฟิค ประสบการณ์ของผู้เล่น (User Experience) รวมถึงรวบรวมข้อมูลเชิงลึกและข้อเสนอแนะจากผู้เล่นจริง เพื่อนำไปปรับปรุงและยกระดับคุณภาพของเกมในทุกด้านก่อนเปิดให้บริการเต็มรูปแบบในช่วงไตรมาส 4 ปี 2569
MU MAX Age เป็นเกมแนว Action MMORPG ที่พัฒนาโดยบริษัท Maxion Game
ภายใต้ลิขสิทธิ์อย่างเป็นทางการจากบริษัท Webzen เจ้าของทรัพย์สินทางปัญญา (IP) ของ MU Online โดยรองรับการเล่นบนแพลตฟอร์ม PC
งาน Alpha Test Offline รอบนี้จัดขึ้นในรูปแบบ Invitation Only โดยมุ่งเน้นการทดสอบระบบ Gameplay หลัก ระบบการต่อสู้ รวมถึงฟีเจอร์ใหม่ที่ทีมพัฒนาออกแบบขึ้นเพื่อสร้างประสบการณ์ที่แตกต่างจากเกม MU ในอดีต
ภายในงาน ทีมพัฒนาได้เปิดเผยฟีเจอร์สำคัญหลายด้าน ได้แก่
- ยกระดับกราฟิกให้สวยงามและสมจริงยิ่งขึ้นด้วยขุมพลัง Unity Engine
- ยกระดับข้อจำกัดเดิมของ MU ด้วย FPS ที่สูงถึง 144 ทำให้ทุกจังหวะการเล่นลื่นไหล
- ระบบการเล่นที่ดุเดือดและเร้าใจกว่าที่เคยอย่าง Castle Siege และ World Boss
- ระบบ Marketplace สำหรับซื้อขายแลกเปลี่ยนระหว่างผู้เล่นโดยเฉพาะ
พร้อมเปิดโอกาสให้ผู้เล่นได้พูดคุยกับทีมพัฒนาโดยตรง เพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นและสะท้อนประสบการณ์การเล่นอย่างใกล้ชิด
นอกเหนือจากการพัฒนา Gameplay แล้ว Maxion Game ยังให้ความสำคัญกับการยกระดับโครงสร้างพื้นฐานของเกม โดยเฉพาะด้าน Security ซึ่งถือเป็นหนึ่งในหัวใจสำคัญของการให้บริการเกมในยุคปัจจุบัน
จากประสบการณ์เกม MMORPG มากมายในอดีตที่ผู้เล่นเคยเผชิญปัญหาของการดัดแปลงข้อมูล และการโจมตีระบบ ทีมพัฒนาได้ออกแบบโครงสร้างของระบบใหม่ พร้อมเสริมมาตรการด้านความปลอดภัยตั้งแต่ระดับเซิร์ฟเวอร์ ระบบตรวจจับการใช้งานผิดปกติ ไปจนถึงการป้องกันการแทรกแซงข้อมูล เพื่อให้ผู้เล่นได้รับประสบการณ์ที่มีความเสถียร โปร่งใส และเป็นธรรมมากยิ่งขึ้น
ผลการทดสอบในครั้งนี้จะถูกนำไปใช้ประเมินทั้งประสิทธิภาพและความพร้อมของระบบ ก่อนเข้าสู่การทดสอบรอบ Online ในเฟสถัดไป

พร้อมระบุว่า บริษัทให้ความสำคัญกับการพัฒนาเกมร่วมกับ Community โดยข้อเสนอแนะที่ได้รับจากผู้เล่นในทุกช่วงการทดสอบจะถูกนำมาวิเคราะห์และจัดลำดับความสำคัญ เพื่อใช้กำหนดทิศทางการพัฒนาเกมในระยะต่อไป
จากการทดสอบ Alpha ในครั้งนี้ ผู้เล่นส่วนใหญ่มีความคิดเห็นในเชิงบวกต่อระบบเกมอย่างชัดเจน โดยเฉพาะในด้านคุณภาพกราฟิกที่ได้รับการยกระดับให้สวยงามยิ่งขึ้น การเพิ่มระบบ World Boss ที่ช่วยเสริมความท้าทายและเพิ่มความสนุกในการเล่น รวมถึงประสบการณ์การเล่นที่ลื่นไหลมากยิ่งขึ้น นอกจากนี้ หน้า UI ยังได้รับการปรับปรุงใหม่ให้ใช้งานสะดวกขึ้น พร้อมทั้งมีการพัฒนาในส่วนของ Quality of Life ให้ดียิ่งขึ้นจากเดิม ทั้งนี้ภายในงานยังมีกิจกรรม Developer Talk & Fan Meeting ที่เปิดพื้นที่ให้แฟนเกม MU ได้พูดคุย แลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็น และส่งต่อข้อเสนอแนะให้ทีมพัฒนาโดยตรง เพื่อร่วมกันสร้าง MU MAX Age ให้ตอบโจทย์แฟนเกมมากที่สุด

ภายหลังการสรุปผลจาก Alpha Test Offline ทีมพัฒนาจะดำเนินการปรับปรุงระบบตามข้อมูลและข้อเสนอแนะที่ได้รับ ก่อนเปิด Alpha Test Online ในวันที่ 15 กรกฎาคม เพื่อเปิดโอกาสให้แฟนเกมและผู้เล่นกลุ่มใหญ่ขึ้นได้ร่วมทดสอบเกม พร้อมเก็บข้อมูลเพิ่มเติมทั้งด้าน Gameplay ความเสถียรของระบบ และความสามารถในการรองรับจำนวนผู้เล่น
หลังจากนั้น บริษัทมีแผนเปิด Closed Beta Test ก่อนเดินหน้าเปิดให้บริการอย่างเป็นทางการภายใน ไตรมาสที่ 4 ของปีนี้

On June 27, 2026, Maxion Game, the developer and publisher of MU MAX Age, hosted the “MU MAX Age: THE AWAKENING - Alpha Test Offline” at HQ by MAYG Studio, Papaya Studio. The event welcomed over 100 gaming media and prominent influencers to experience the game firsthand. This marked the title’s first public showcase since development began and represents a key milestone ahead of its official launch phase.
The objective of this Offline Alpha Test was to evaluate overall game performance, graphical fluidity, and user experience (UX), while also collecting in-depth feedback from real players. The insights gathered will be used to refine and enhance the game across all aspects in preparation for its official release in Q4 2026.
MU MAX Age is an action MMORPG developed by Maxion Game under the official license from Webzen, the IP holder of MU Online. The game is designed for the PC platform. This Offline Alpha Test was conducted on an invitation-only basis, focusing on core gameplay systems, combat mechanics, and newly introduced features aimed at delivering a fresh experience beyond previous MU titles.
During the event, the development team unveiled several key features, including:
- Enhanced, more immersive graphics powered by the Unity Engine
- Break past MU’s limitations with up to 144 FPS for ultra-smooth gameplay
- Intensified gameplay experiences such as Castle Siege and World Boss battles
- A dedicated P2P marketplace for in-game item trading
Attendees were also given the opportunity to engage directly with the development team, sharing feedback and discussing their gameplay experiences in an open and collaborative environment.
Beyond gameplay development, Maxion Game places strong emphasis on strengthening the game’s infrastructure, particularly in terms of security, which is considered a critical pillar of modern online game services. Drawing from challenges faced by many contemporary MMORPGs, such as data manipulation and system exploits, the team has re-engineered the game’s architecture with enhanced security measures. These include server-level protections, abnormal behavior detection systems, and safeguards against data tampering, ensuring a more stable, transparent, and fair experience for all players.
The results from this test will be used to assess system performance and readiness ahead of the upcoming Online Alpha Test phase.

During the Alpha testing phase, the majority of players expressed highly positive feedback toward the game’s overall systems. Notably, the enhanced visual quality received strong praise, alongside the introduction of the World Boss feature, which adds a new layer of challenge and excitement to the gameplay experience. Players also highlighted improved game performance, delivering smoother and more seamless gameplay, as well as a newly refined user interface designed for greater accessibility and ease of use. In addition, multiple Quality of Life improvements have been implemented to further elevate the overall player experience.
The event also featured a Developer Talk & Fan Meeting session, providing a dedicated platform for MU fans to engage directly with the development team. Attendees were able to exchange insights, share feedback, and offer valuable suggestions, all of which will contribute to the ongoing development of MU MAX Age to better meet the expectations of its community.
Despite the highly competitive MMORPG market, Maxion Game believes MU MAX Age stands out through its blend of MU Online’s iconic identity with modern gameplay systems and visual enhancements. The company aims to deliver an experience that appeals to both long-time fans and a new generation of players.
Maxion Game also sees continued growth potential in the PC gaming market across Southeast Asia, which serves as a key driver behind this investment.
Following the conclusion of the Offline Alpha Test, the development team will refine the game based on collected data and feedback before launching the Online Alpha Test on July 15. This next phase will expand access to a broader group of players, allowing for further testing of gameplay, system stability, and server capacity.
A Closed Beta Test is planned to follow, leading up to the official launch scheduled for Q4 this year.
